This lovely Audemars Piquet Royal Oak Tourbilon is definitely a watch suited for someone who is looking for something really special. As it is not that famous and widely used as other brands, some of the replicas you might get could be really bad. Here we have two versions of the watch, one replica and the other an original, put next to each other for comparison.
The first thing we notice about the replica watch is the fact that it managed to respect the way the original watch should feel, it has the leather strap and definitely comes with the same design for the parts that are hard to copy, like the bezel. However, there are still there differences when it comes to these two watches and they all have to do with the chronographs.
The first difference is on the left chronograph that seems to be showing different numbers on the watches. On the replica watch we can see the numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 while on the original watch the number sequence is the following: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60. The next difference, as we mentioned earlier, is on the next chronograph, the one that can be found at the bottom of the face of the watch. Here the mechanism is beautifully showed off, but there is a slight difference on the replica watch as it seems that a smaller opening was added, an opening that features gold on the edge, while on the original watch it doesn’t.
The last difference between these two watches is on the right chronograph that shows the following numbers on the original watch: 05, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. However, on the replica watch we have the same first five numbers but the last number is 31 instead of 30.
